my rims SCRUB!! rolls guards??

hi all, i think this is right section, if not, sorry mods please move, i just bought set of 17inch 235 wide rims, and they scrubs on the outer guards of my vn with chopped springs but not drasticly low, there is a lip going in on guard, ill post pic, can i fold it in? vn owners will know what im on about, the square guard at back, isnt just straght, it has flat bit going in and i want to bendit

is it only rubbing on one side? cause chances are it is because you haven't put an adjustable pan hard rod in and with lowering it, it is now pushing the diff to one side

Take the ILLEGAL chopped springs out.
