Righty.. Well I got bored today..So I put in my lvl 3 cluster.. I dont have the SB yet, still in transit

So, if i indicate left or have the Hazard lights on.. The left indicator does not show..Instead, it flashes REV .. Right works fine tho.. And all the lights do work

2nd problem is.. The rev sits at 0 unless the i have my foot on the accelerator if im rolling the revs drop to 0. Me thinks this cluster is shit :P

But, it's a spare.. Good one should be here soon I hope..'

During the whole process of when I wire it all up, I will be taking Piccies for other people to have a guide on

When I stuck a L2 VP cluster in my VN my indicator flashed the CRS light (I think). I just swapped one wires position in one of the connectors to suit. Just compare cluster pinouts.

The cluster came out of a VN..And its in a VP ..

But remember, the loom nor the SB is in yet.. I just plugged it in to see how it would look. I suspect the issues it has it due to not having the loom and 4th plug it needs

Thanks to GreenVN the vp lvl 3 loom has arrived today..

Now, i gota figure out to solder the wires that are needed to be solderd :P

For the VN cluster to work in the VP you will need to move 3 or 4 wires - reverse the VP cluster into a VN. (I have a VP cluster in my VN and when I test VN clusters now I get the left blinker on)

From memory it's 2 brown white wires and the blue one on Connector 1.

You'll be fine - the hard bit will be soldering the 2 switch wires onto your L2 PCB. The wires will all be the correct colours so if you work with 1 wire at a time and follow the tags the job will take you about half a day to complete.

Also you will need to use a cluster with the green backing number 41772. (VP)

All the clusters with 39488 on them are for VN or S1 VQ's.

if you need something to get the pins out of connectors that the cluster "plugs" into. i use a skewer its nice sharp points makes it easy

At the moment, Im hunting around for a proper VP cluster.. Thinking the buyer I got it from ebay is messing me around.. Unlucky for him I got his number and I text him once a day.. :P

So, if anyone has a lvl 3 vp cluster.. I'd love to buy it.. Keen for one with no bleeds on it, I really am interested to fit blue LED lights into it

There are 2 other potential ebay sellers..But Im sending messages back and forward with em to see if there legit and clusters work.. :P

I did, thats where I got my current lvl 3 cluster from.. But it has bleeds..Not to sure if it fully works atm.. Gota wire the loom in

But.. I looked in every vn-vp-vr-vs they had for em..And this only was the only one :P
