looking for a project car

hey guys havent posted in ages
i have a vp ute as my daily and i was going to do her up but now since i am working full time i cant take her off the road. What car do u guys think would make a good project?

I would go a VS series 1 or 2 I would have said a VL but there is to many out there and they are expensive and hard to come by a nice clean one without rust

Depends what project car it is? Race? Show? Cruise?

Im buliding up my V8 as a Race/Cruise but more towards race then cruise it wont see the road that often. I chose a V8 BT1 for the simplicity, basicaly a SS without all the nice stuff so perfect for a race car (less weight and BT1 extras ie LSD)

I would of gone for a exc with a V8 aswell but then i wouldnt of got all the BT1 extras.

Also out of personal prefrence I like cars without ABS or airbags for the purpose of racing.

A mate and i did this not long ago, we picked up a VN Berlina for $600 with 170,000km in reasonable condition.keep an eye out on ebay as you can pick up a vn-vs for ncheap as chips.
