swap door shell from electic window to non electric

Hi all

I have a vp and I went to the wreckers and got myself a new front guard and a door.
The trouble is the guard went on fine, but the door seems to be an electric window style and my doors are manual windup ones, I also did not see a solanoid for the door locks either in the new door.

Question is, can I completely gut the door with the electric windows and use the shell for my manual windup doors? are they the same, with the same holes?

Yes they will be the same. You just need to drill out the rivets that hold the electric regulator in and bolt the manual regulator in.

You just have to do it the other way round.

The door is straight and a colour match so it will be worth doing the swap.

Can I use bolts as the guy in the thread did, to bolt the manual part back in?
