Default Commodore Vp Popping on idle

My Vp has started to do this weird popping when idling but only when its warm, when it does u see the motor shake a little (not sure how to explain it, its only slight)..

i was lazy and wanted a low km motor.. which lucky me it hardly cost me anything and i got a complete car out of it!!
the new motor was running fine in the other car but when i put it in mine.. SAME problem..

i changed the gearbox, radiator, ECU, oxygen sensor, relays and that other green sensor that comes off the throttle body (near the aircon, no idea what it is) it also has a brand new fuel pump in it... so in theory it cant be the motor or any of those listed above because they were all running perfect in the other car..
i just wouldn't have a clue why it is doing it.. i wouldnt no what else it could be... only thoughts is maybe dirty petrol or the exhaust itself

i don't wanna have to take it somewhere and have them charge me shits loads for labor when its prob something so simple..

    any ideas would help!

That box you changed sounds like the map sensor. Where did you get it from? Was it new or certified to be in good condition? Also the engine sounds like it's misfiring. Check spark plugs, leads, and coil pack to make sure they're in good working order.

the map sensor was from the other car that the new motor came out of, so it was working fine. like i said it was running fine before i swapped the motor.. coilpack/leads/plugs werent touched..

plugs can just shit themselves anytime more so when they get hot and when you put that motor in you might had bumped a lead coz thats all it will take to break the graphite inside the lead.

What's the crank angle sensor looking like? With the engine off, check to see if it's mounted securely, and chuck a feeler gauge between the outer magnet and the balancer teeth to check for .50mm clearance.

As Aaron said, I would be checking spark plugs too. Is there any hint of a misfire at any time other than at idle?

My VP did this when I first got it, changed coils and fixed it straight away.
