Will this lsd centre fit?

hi my mate has an lsd that he doesnt want and i was wondering if the diff centre will fit my V6 wagon. it is EL xr6 it has a 28 spline axles. now ive tried to research this and the only thing i can gather is that ford had borg warner diffs like commodore's.
the ratio is 3.45
