    Default vp minispool (any ideas on prices?)

    gday everyone just wondering if anyone from perth knows wot a minispool for a vp commodore is gunna cost or wots a gd price

    ebay have got them around the $100 mark I think.

    You should be looking at around $300 supplied and fitted from your average gearbox/diff specialist.

    That's if all your other seals don't fall apart from old age. I paid $600, I supplied an almost seized spooled rear axle (off car) and that price got it rebuilt disc to disc. New bearings and seals throughout, a second hand set of 3.08s (mine were COOKED) and some 140weight oil to keep everything happy. Haven't had an issue with it since (except a tiiiiiiiny bit of play in my 600,000km axles)

    It's worth noting that if you are not a spastic like me, and get your shims and torque settings RIGHT, this is a 100% DIY job

    bahahahahahahaha and to the op id say fit it ya self its easy and saves the cash depending on the condition of ya seals ect
