Default VN 1990 What should I do

About a year ago my dad gave me his old old 1990 VN Berlina*for my birthday, I'm about to get my P's and finally want to do some interior mods.

Besides audio (already done) what else can I do to my car?
I was thinking about installing a keyless remote starter for the engine, a CB Radio.
An instruction on where power / cables run would be helpfull

This may seem like a stupid question buy u do u need bumper bars for driver lights?
    If not how

you mean nudge bars? nah you can get ones that'll mount to the bottom of your stock front bumper, just very easy to rip them off and a steep driveway, gutter or bumpy dirt road.

keyless remote starter sounds like a big waste of time and money to me to be honest but each to their own. they're pretty pricey as they're usually part of a complicated security system and as such, are fairly difficult and time consuming to install yourself as it'll normally include all sorts of alarm sensors and various forms of engine immobilising and such. Even just the remote start part of it would be difficult to wire up so that everything that needs power will recieve it. A lot of work for not a great deal of gain from what i can see.

CB radio is a good idea though, but there is a big range of them for sale in different sizes and possible mounting possitions. You could mount it in the pocket under the stereo with a bit of modification if it will fit and tap power from the wires to the cigarette lighter. Alternatively you could wire it via a switch and relay setup directly to the battery so you can use it with the car off. As for the antenna, the easiest way is to mount it on the side edge of the boot, and as for the cables, they are fairly easy to run either along the door sills or under the carpet and under the rear seat into the boot

Yeah, I can't see any real good advantage to having a remote starter. I'd much rather my key.

I don't really understand your question about the headlights though.

You can get just keyless remote starter kits for $80 - $150, I don't need or want all the security features

But, why do you need it? You're going to get in the car anyway, might as well start it while you're there. By all means, if you want to do it go ahead, I just don't think it would be worth it.

Cb radio is easy, mount antennae in boot drain line, blob of silicone on the screw holes. run cable under trim to front, connect cb to cigarette lighter power, done.

For driving lights buy one of those little number plate nudge bars.
