noisy fan or compressor??

Hi all

The fan behind the glovebox is hell noisey since I got it regased.
I removed a leaf from it as I ca reach into it from the front.
Not sure why it is so noisey.

Any ideas?

Do you have to remove the dash to get at these?

The bushs in the fans wear and they can make a lot of noise. If it is the fan then put up with it or sell the car.

what sort of a response is that?

I cannot afford to sell the car, its all I ****ing have to get to work in, I cannot afford to push the **** into a ****ing mechanics everytime it shits itself.

I was simply asking for a way to fix it, I assume by your rersponse you mean that the whole dash has to be removed (somthing I have done 3 or 4 times, but **** me it was a pain in the arse) to access the fan.

You have pulled the complete dash and heater assembly out 3 or 4 times? Anytime you take a dash out of these models you always fit a new fan, a new heater core and a new evaporator because you never, ever want to do it again.
