Hey guys, ive got a 91 vn v6 on LPG.. and for some reason its not starting up properly.
It starts on petrol.. and i rev it past 1500 and on the deceleration of revs it will switch over to gas. but when that happens the revs go extremely low sometimes, so low that when i go to rev it just to get it to keep it going it conks out on me.. and it will go for a while just until i go to rev it.
then when i restart it, it wont and just gets flooded.. then when it does start it goes rough.. really rough for about 30 sec.
Any help at all would be great? does it mean its in need of an LPG tune?
Also.. this only seems to happen when the LPG tank is at half or less.

Sounds like the LPG filter is blocked. They have an in-line filter like for petrol line. It will be in the Filter Lock unit, either next to the converter or on the tank outlet. Looks like the Victa mower handle mounted air filter, but miniature, unlike the Vitca one, it get dirty on the inside and will look clean on the outside.
You will need to turn off the gas tank valve and drain the LPG from the tube before you can undo the nut.
Be careful to use 2 spanners and or the exact socket to avoid rounding the nut and not brake the converter or bend the copper tube.
sorry for the late reply but umm. nah the filter is clean not blocked at all..
anyother ideas?
Late reply? - not my transport to work, so it is ALL GOOD!
After more thought - Water blockage or lack of water to Vapouriser, giving it freeze lock. Run the car until it happens all the time and feel the vapourisor for it being cold and icy. If it is, let the engine cool down and check the water level in your radiator, open the heater valve to hot and bleed the air from the system.

Split fuel hose from Vapouriser to Mixer.
