    Default VP Calais spat brackets

    Hey peoples,
I am in the process of painting up some rear wheel arch spats for my VP Berlina. What I need to do is make some brackets to weld to the car then bolt the spats to. So, could someone post a pic of the bracket (on or off the car) please?
    Cheers, Deano.

on a mates, we just screwed the buggers into the guard lip 2 in the top 1 in each side, from behind . Dunno how sturdy they would be but it lasted as long as he had the car lol
Some say less talk more action. But I rekon more torque less traction!

Yeah but they leave a funny gap. And yer they would be sturdy enough tec screwed into the guard.

I also want to do this with a VP ute and am going to use a couple of rear doors to make the spats from a donor I bought and fabricate to fit. Will prob weld some brackets on the guard first then make it fit.I hope!

The gap is where the round lip is on the front of the archs.

Might just be a matter of rolling the guard down slightly with some neat slice work

Yeah ok. The body shape must be slightly different to the vp's?
