VP low idle/stalling under certain conditions

My auto VP almost stalls or does stall if:

• I put it into N when waiting at the lights, it'll almost conk out in D at the next lights
• I force gears 2 or 1
• I have the aircon on for a while then go around a bend or corner

Any ideas anyone? I want to check error codes using the ALDL, but I couldn't find the damn thing around the ECU.

Sounds like you got low engine oil or needs new .. Check the levels mate.

But, heres the basic run down:

Clean Pod/Pannel Filter
New Spark Plugs & leads
Oil change
Clean out ya TB , might be clogged with black stuff

yeah clean you throtle body and reset your base idle, that could be your problem mate.

Hmm okay. I had a feeling it could've been the TB, base idle, or CAS. I guess I'll either find a workshop manual or get a mechanic to have a look at it.

Get a manual, you can do it
Will save you min of $90 for labour :P

Sadly..here in the mackay most mechanics go $80min/HR
