Gday i've got a mate who wants to buy a 70mm throtle body for his vs (yes i no this is in the vn/p section) he rekons it will give him 10% more power. now is he talking shit? i think he is but i'd like other people too back me up? what do u think?

On a standard motor with no modifications a 70mm throttle body will likely have no impact on power whatsoever. The standard throttle body flows more than enough for what is required. He may find an improvement in throttle response, but claims that he'll gain 10% more power are total bull.

maybe better top end but slower accel due to slower air speed thru throttle body .

well that makes me feel alot better, i figured for 150 or so bucks if they worked everyone would have one, dont seam to hear about 70mm TB like we hear about 2.5 inch cat backs n shit like that.
