Check the Coilpack's wireing.. Is it grounded etc etc..

Was it in the car during the smash? It could be dead.

But first, is your battery connected? I've been caught on that one .. Ha ha ha!!

the new CAS you put in.. It might be the wrong one.

What series is your engine? and what series is the CAS .. May be different,

another q, when you turn the key to start the car up.. does it crank? or just wind ..wind..wind etc?

If it doesnt do anything..Then something is wrong on the crankshaft line (Balaner->Shield->CAS)

[EDIT] - When I got my new CAS and Balancer.. I had to take my Road worthy cert to holden so they could get my Engine Number.. Old style Balancer and CAS is for engines under these number "127" at the start of the sequence. Anything above 127 is the new style .. Strange I know.. But, holden no what there on about this time.. ;p

Hmm, check your Spark plugs and leads, they might be damaged..

But, i suggest if you can get a hold of a spare Coilpack & DFI give that a go.. DFI is the main ignition module.

    Need more info again lol.

Do you let your Fuel Pump prime - Then turn the key?
Can you hear your Fuel Pump prime at all?
After you've tried to start the engine.. is there any smoke coming from the exhaust?
Is there any smells in the engine bay..Like oil or fuel?

EDIT - Also.. if you have a Gregorys manual or the Vn-vp manual book.. There is a guide in it on How-To test your Coil Pack with a multi meter, if you got acces to the book, have a look in it and see if its even getting any power to it

EDIT again lol - When you had the crash.. Did your engine stall ? or did you turn it off ?
