    Red face Problems With the Petrol Gauge

    Hey guys, i start my vp up and the fuel gauge stays at empty after i give a wake on the dash it will flick up to full, after a couple days of use the guage will still read full. Any Ideas???????????

    if you keep posting like that, no-one will help you, just be patient. anyway, it sounds like your average vn-vp commodore. take the guages out and check the connections at the back, the terminals are usually the culprit.

    hey,
    there is a loose wirer inside or behind the cluster. it happen`s to all well nearly all vns.
    or just pull the cluster out and clean the fuel needle it might have sumthing on it that makes it stick at sertian points

    go and get some electrical circuit board cleaner, you can actualy spray the whole board, it gets all he crusty stuff out from years of build up.
    Mine used to read empty untill i gave it a good tap then all of a sudden it started to work fine and ive never had the problem again.
    I think my problem was a dry joint that needed a but if help

    Hey where are these circuit boards you have to clean? andthe clusters you can check out how can i get to them?
