painting rocker covers tips and hints

hey guys im looking at paint my 3800 valve covers has any1 got tips on how to paint them, take them off, what type of paint should it be heat safe paint ? any pics would be awsome 2

Yeah mate take them off by the bolts that hold em down around the edge. You may have to take off the intake pipe to get to all of em. Scuff the surface up a bit with a scourer or fine sandpaper and make sure they are clean with thinners. Spray em with engine enamel and it will be sweet.

do they have a gasket on the inside of them? cause i dnt want to stuff it up

yes they do . As long as you keep it in the recess in the cover you will be fine
