If you have the handbrake chime sounding off as below - the 1st pin on the voltage regulator may be cracked. I had 3 identical clusters with 1 chimming off the handbrake warning all day. On following the tracks on the green PCB I found it went to Pin 1. Pulled the regulator out and sure enough the 1st pin was cracked. Blob of solder and the chime is silent until you pull the handbrake on.
All 3 clusters work fine now.

Awesome.
The Regulator that you sent me, it that a 'fixed' one?
My cluster use to beep it at me all the time
ooo chiming cars... enough to burn the thing lol.... thank god for older cars.. no seatbelt chime no open door chime, haha bliss
my handbrake chime doesn't work at all![]()
hmm it works for all the other options though, maybe the switch is bung
my mistake shane, the chime works fine![]()
I'm 95% certain it's the Handbrake chime.
The beeping cluster I've got in at the moment is actually a VP/VQII one.
Moved 2 wires on C1, two the brown/white ones.... but not the green one from C3 to C1. Problem found!![]()
What does the green one do?
I have a overspeed chime that sits in the passenger seat...no amount of solder will fix that

The handbrake chime will also "chime" if the warning globe is blown. (in a VS anyways...)
Unfortunately mines still a beeper....
I'll check to see if all the wiring is connected to the correct terminals....![]()
