hey all

question about upgrading the fuel system on a vn ss,
it has a 90litre twin pump tank and i want to put
fuel pumps in that will supply an ls1?

can you convert to single pump??
if so how and what pump??
if not which 2 pumps should i use??

If its the factory VN 85 litre tank then it is possible to convert to a sinlge pump setup.

They might be an easier way, but how I did it was get a VR SS (or any other V8 single pump sender unit or modify yours) sender unit and use that.

Due to VP onwards having the return line on the sender unit and not the tank, I had to get my return line on the tank cut off and welded up and then re routed the hose in the tank onto the sender unit.

Fuel pump wise, I went with a Wlabro GSS342 intank pump....good for around 500hp
