hi guys i have 2 questions. what is that circular thing on the air intake black pipe i have seen them b4 but never known what they are for. and also does anybody know where i can get that black engine/valley cover cause i would really want 1 but dont know where 2 get 1. can somebody help
thanks
The engine cover, I believe is one that was manufactured/used over in the states for the Buick's over there. In order to get the cover here in Aus is a bit of a mission. I know of someone who has one though, I think it was an ebay buy.
yea i had a look for 1 on ebay but cant find 1 does any1 know what that circluar thing on the air intake pipe is just b4 the throttle body
yea i know i have seen them b4 but never know what it is. they have a rubber seal kida thing inside of them but i dnt know if its a stock item or a mod
Is that not part of the gas setup?
It dosent look standard to me.
White 05 V6 VZ Executive - Thrashed Ex Telstra car
and 3 Dangerous non ABS VN's
i saw 1 at the wreckers and didnt know what it was can anybody shed some light
I'd suggest something with gas too, like 88GreenVN suggested, it doesnt look standard. Usually its the standard intake piping bent 90 Degrees to the throttle body.
95% sure thats a gas regulator thing, (not sure what there called)
as for the engine cover, as stated above its from the states, by memory it was on late 80's early 90's buick bonneville's
yup, it's a gas mixer
here's my old vn for reference
