Gday, has anyone tried to use a one piece driveshaft in a vn? And if not, why. Cheers.
Next to no one has a VN that needs one
I would worry about that if and when you break one, Getting a twin turbo 383 up and running from the planing stage, well you might not even live that long. Not point wasting time on things like tailshafts just yet
I run one in a VP. Found on the standard tailshaft didn't like 4000rpm launches off a transbrake. Kept doing centre bearings every 2-3 meetings. Also a 1 piece is a lot quicker to remove (which was handy when we had constant gearbox problems)
Noticed you are from W.A, when it comes time, go see Phil at Final Drive in O'Connor. He setup the 9" and single piece tailshaft for this car, plus a mates VB SL/E and a couple of other cars running in super street and super sedan.
