    Default kickdown cable?

hi there just got my gf a vp , its runs fine but when i drive it, it feels as though even if you nail it, it feels like its changing around 3 - 3.5 grand (have no tacho so guessing), and seems sluggish, notice it especially when going up hills, just feels as though its in a gear higher then it should and if you rest foot a little further on accelerator it will change down but then back up again, some has mentioned the kickdown cable may need adjusting, before i do this, i thought i would ask you guys if it sounds like it could be the problem, if so is it easy to do? and what is the best way about going about it, its only the gf's car so doesn't need to be adjusted for performance or anything, but just so its no so sluggish

    Thanks in advance

kickdown cable shouldnt need too much adjusting,.. the smallest changes make heaps of difference..
from what i remember at the throttlebody u pull the kickdown cable allll the way back
by pushing in the grey button thingy..

then if u turn the throttle body all the way to 100% open throttle (do it slowly) u will here it click each time.

when ur at 100% throttle its set in proper position.. get in and drive
