Default Raised Suspension Available for VP Wagon?

    Hey all,
I have been looking at a few vn-vp-vr wagons, i'm planning on buying one to tow out the motorbikes to tracks etc. I would like to lift the factory suspension.. are there any heavy duty springs or anything available?
Could i fit v8 struts in the front to give the front lift?
    What about the rear?

    Thanks.

Thanks for that mate, i've seen it in a few sedans but not sure if it'll fit wagon or not, though 2inch lift from standard would be great..

Anyone else know if v8 front springs/struts will fit in/raise it?

    Cheers.

You could always go custom springs or take some stock ones into a suspension joint and ask what other springs will fit, but this may mean longer travel shocks too if you go higher than the standard shocks limit. You can also get thicker spring insulators which will raise it more.

Why dont you just get airbags for the rear? Theres plenty of cheap kits around, leave the front the way it is, then raise/lower the rear as needed.

Never thought of putting bags, could they go pretty tall? Could they be installed at home?

Pretty sure the rears are simple to install. They came factory on HSV wagons (VP Sport wagon, VR Clubby wagon and VS Manta wagon) so maybe shell out the extra for the top of the line model

nah not an option, i'm sorta paying <$500 for the wagon haha. its going to be a bit of a project/hack for taking bikes into the bush, hence why i'm looking for lift

If you decide airbags i'd think about drop-in bags. I think TSS do them for a pretty good price, they dont require a compressor or anything just use a tyre valve air attachment and pump up/let down to desired height. From what i have seen/heard they a peice of piss to install too.

Yeah thats the type i've seen, with the valve. Would be the way i'd go if i needed it.
