    hey guys when should you change your break pads like how manny mm left on them ??

    2mm or something?

    But common sense is when it gets close to the backing plate. Avoid metal on metal and you'll be fine.

    yea cause my foot is close to the floor. in 08 the service report said the brakes where 6 and 8 mm so yea btw what chance is it that the brake booster has gone

    It is more likely the fluid has too much contamination and needs replacing.

    Rule of thumb is that when the thickness of the friction material reaches the same thickness of the backing plate they need replacing.

    yea its just my mates brake booster went on his vs. but i only just got break fluid redone cause my break line went but yea. i will be taking her in 4 a service soon and they can sort it out
