    Default fitting extractors ????

    can people tell me the easyiest was to fit vp auto extractors step by step in as much detail as possible i just want to know if i should try doin it myself or get a pro 2 do it

    1. Remove exhaust
    2. Remove 02 sensors
    3. Remove Exhaust manifolds
    4. Undo and move steering rack out of the way (2bolts + undo the column from the rack)
    5. Insert new extractors
    6. Curse at drivers side
    7. re-attach exhaust and 02 sensor
    8. drive vehicle.

    im sure it could be done that quickly but without most of the needed stuff what do u think would be my best bet because i hav herd you can break studs

    If studs are going to break, they will break regardless of who undoes them.
    Saying that, I have never snapped an exhaust stud.
    Its not a difficult job to undertake. a socket set couple of spanners, and a shifter will get it done.

    so can you explain to me how to drop the steering rack out and what bolts possibly some pics ???

    You just have to un-bolt the column from the rack (the column comes into the engine bay through the firewall, and attach's to the steering rack on the drivers side)
    Then laying under the car, there are two bolts the K-frame that hold the steering rack in place.

    I would get a mate to help when you're putting it back together, as it can be tough to get to line up correctly.
