Question ACL Race Series Rebuild Kits V6

    Hey Guys,

Does anyone know a rough price for one of these kits? I've had a bit of a hunt on the net and can't seem to find an actual price on them.

Also, anyone here used one? Are they as good as they're cracked up to be?

    Cheers,
    Jarrad

im sure i seen a stroker kit from ACL to suit vnSeries 2 and vp v6 for around $2800 takes your 3.8ltr to 4.1ltr but other then that only experiance ive had with kits is the liquard fordged pistons in my old red 202 vh commodore never had a problem with it
Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them

about 800 bucks, but it is better and cheaper to buy the parts individually and get a good gasket set other than ACL. I hear that their gaskets aren't so good.

    Pistons are about 450
    Main bearings 45
    Cam bearing 40
    Conrod bearings 45

So yeah I m guessing it better this way.

Would love to get a hold of a stroker kit for it but I'm eventually going to ditch the 3.8L for a LSx Conversion so don't want to spend too much on it now.

It's actually a lot cheaper than I thought. Might even have some left over cash to do some extras to the engine.

Who would you recommend for quality gaskets?
