hi, im going to change my radiator and im thinking it is a good idea to change the thermostat and cooland temp sesnor, so i can cover all bases... wheres best place to buy the new sensor and t'stat and are they easy to install?

Yes, it is probably a good idea to replace the thermostat at the same time. However, when you don't mention anything about where you live, it's hard to tell you where to go to get it, and on that note, maybe you should take the initiative to ring around for prices from a few places local to you for something as common, cheap, and readily available as a thermostat.
sorry i thought a chain of auto shops might sell them.....but i live in melbourne east suburbs,
im also thinking of changing coolant temp sensor as well as thermostat and radiator, good idea?
Yes, every chain shop will stock them (thermostats), they are one of the most common parts, and because of that, there's really no "best place" to get them. Don't bother with the coolant temp sensor if you are not having problems with it.

Sorry, I misread your question. I thought you were only asking about thermostats. You might have to hunt around for the sensor.
I've even seen them at service stations especially for commodores
