    Default Sold my Vn for $1400 - Thanks to all for your help and advice over last year or so

    I sold my car after having it in the family for over 20 years since bought brand new ..

    looked after her and spent thousands ..... anyhow I sold for $1400 with pink slip and 5 months left on green slip ..Sold to a 16 year old kid on his L's ... I hope he takes it easy... alot of power for a kid even though it's a V6 .... lol

    Vn executive 1990 200,000kms as of 13/6/08 , oil changes every 5000kms since it rolled out the factory , strut brace for hard cornering, kn pod filter, Ngk iridiums sports exhaust..what else can I say I love my holden

    awww shoulda kept it with that much history.

    Yes alot of sentimental history with it that's why I fought to keep it on the rd ..

    same engine .. transmission .. diff etc .. used no oil and no smoke out exhaust... still goes like new ...

    sold at 230,000 km's

    Must have been a sad day after that long in the family......

    now thats its gone its probably best you never know what happens to it.

    i bought a XD S-pack falcon off my auntie who had it since new. when i sold it was in the family for over 20 years, all original except for rims and h/d clutch. sold it to a guy i knew well, 3 months later it was taken for a joy ride by his mates and ended up twisting the chassis on a fence. some mates.....

    i havent had the heart to tell her coz she loved the car hense why she sold it to me coz she knew it would be looked after.

    The last I saw of the long time ice green VH family car it was sideways up the road after a V8 transplant. I know it didn't survive long after that, but it went out in style
