ok i have been looking around on here an other sites looking for the issue, My vn keeps flashing up the check engine light,, iv checked for codes an 23 comes up., now from what i have found it means:
" MAT sensor shows < -30 degrees C for 3 seconds after engine
running 1 minute or coolant > 30C. Probably an open circuit."
My question is what does this mean an how do i fix it,, really confused as to what it could mean,, i have a feeling its something simple an iv just over looked it. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

i honestly have no idea but would it be worth just simply replacing the sensor? i had problems with my car not long ago and it was the oxy sensor, i changed it problem solved. 5 minutes and $60 later. mat sensor may be different i dunno.
im not even 100% sure were the mat sensor is,, thats the issue or otherwise i would of jus replaced an hoped for the best
