howdy folks just got a vn and im a bit curious its an executive but it has fe2 suspension calais grille what appears to be a vp v6 motor and a dash with a tacho and its all factory (apparently) all the other execs ive had 4 so far have never had these options is this some sorta rare breed also the paint work is 2 tone from factory its made in 21 jan 91 all info would be read and appreciatedive heard it could be an ex cop car dunno?????
Wouldn't be a BT1 with a Calais grille or paint like that. It was probably just a dealer optioned car. Slap some pics up.

Any car could be optioned with everything.
You COULD have a Calais spec car built from a VN Exec (but i doubt anyone would do that, as it would cost a shitload more than a calais would.
Pull up the passenger side carpet, and you might be lucky that the production sheet is still there from when it was made.

yeah it goes like a thrashed car and its a coober pedy car so its a bit sorry but its only a second car for work still a decent handling old girl and its on gas so its cheap to run it got defected befor i got it and it passed regency so unless i get double what i payed for it ill keep it
engine noise
my vn has 327000 kms on it and it sounds like theres a bucket of ball bearings rattling around in there typical noise all my non ecotecs done it and havent killed one yet (just auto trans')any way what causes this iv just never bothered with it
and its louder wen the car is warm. i recon it sounds like a balance cam bearing my old wagon had it and i sold it at 860000kms and i never had a trouble with it. let me know ur ideas and ill try them cheers
