hi guys need help, coping code 22 saying something about the speed sensor thing or the ecm. im guessing the ecu and ecm are 2 separate things otherwise it would say ecu in the book yeah? so anyway i have no idea where to locate the ecm or even what it looks like so if someone could take a pic of the ecm that would be unreal and also explain how to get to the bloody thing to change the bugger over.

oh also when i turn my headlights on high beam my stereo switches off then comes on again, push the rear demister and the headlights dim down, tacho on my stage 2 vn cluster is bouncing around like a hard on getting tugged (3rd gear 60 clicks and its bouncing from 0rpm to 3.5 to 4 grand)

i changed my ecu over today and im getting code 12 but this problem has been happening for a couple of days and only showed up with code 24 last night, tried a few times cause i thought something was wrong, then the engine light came on and done it again and so #24 pops up. tacho still going stupid with stage 2 cluster. changed over to i think its stage 3 its the one from the vp v8 calais with the fuel light but the tacho didnt appear to move AT ALL stayed on 0rpm???

check your battery terminals and your earths.
i had the same problem in my old wagon and i was about to take it to an auto electrician when i decided to check my terminals
cant help with the other problems though sorry
