mate go 2 dick smith or a shop like that or if u got 1 get your multimeter and check ur leads. i had the same prob my car was actually running on 4 cyl. plug ur multimeter cables in both ends of ur leads and check ur reading. i think u should set the multimeter on 2000 or 20000 ohms im not sure but the shorter leads shouldregester less like around 4-5 and the larger leads between about 6-8. mine ranged between 5 and 8. two of my leads regestered as ....... so yea got new set. but yea if that dnt fix it def ur plugs
    hope i can help

Possible, but do the spark test and new plugs first tho.

Do you let the fuel pump prime before starting?

Check ya plugs first, if there all black dirty, thats the problem! If not, then it could be Fuel Regulator issue, or Fuel pump..

But, im fairly certain its the Spark Plugs letting you down
