    Default water temp gauge where 2

    hey guys people are telling me to install on the outlet pipe i was wondering if some1 can show me a pic so i know exact what im looking at and also what diameter is that pipe

    Not too sure what you mean, if its what I think you mean its probably a temp gauge sensor? As for outlet pipe maybe they mean your water pump?

    Series 1 VN is will be at the back of the motor, series 2 will be at the front (at the other end of the radiator hoses).

    Still dont know if thats what you mean but I hope this helps.

    ok you can buy water temp gauges and i want to put 1 on my vp 1992 i have been told to put it on the outlet pipe so its regestering the hot water coming out instead of the cooler water from the radiator goin in. i pressume buy water its coolant but i wasnt sure any ideas

    put it in where the stock dash sender is at the back of the engine thats where mine is

    nah never took any its easy to find its brass with one wire going to it at the back of the inlet manifold under the elbow

    oh you have a vp its on the front under the alternator hard to miss once the alternator is off vn is at the back

    doesnt give you a true reading of the temp

    ok i have noticed that you have helped others on kinda the same prob. i am lookin at after market sensor btw. also if i install as the pic above do you think i could do it without draining coolent

    youll only loose a small amount just top it up with extra water.

    so if i was to connect as of the pic above it would give me a general reading, but not accurate, btw what diameter is the pipe (top pipe vp comm). and if you have any other tips feel free to tell
