If you're asking the question "what do I need to turbo my car", you probably shouldn't be turbing your car.

But just off the top of my head, exhaust manifolds, new manifold gaskets, new exhaust, turbo, turbo gaskets, cooling lines, intercooler, intercooler piping, joining pieces for pipe, blow off valve, new tune to suit, possibly an external wastegate (depending on turbo used), and tons of time on your hands. Oh yeah, and money, if you buy a lot of this stuff it will cost a mint unless you can fabricate most of the parts yourself. I'm sure I forgot something though.

Have you had a look at any of the turbo builds in the V6 Development section?

ha, mate theres a few kits out there to suit the vn/vp/vr's just have a type into google, depending whether its a 6 or 8 but chucking a turbo on an old or tired motor is an easy and quick way to kill it, so you will need a couple grand at least as a bare minimum to make a reliable turbo vp
