    Default Problems with new extractors

    Hey guy's, i fitted some new extractors and a Y peiced today.But i'm having a few problems.

Firstly, where they meet up with the Y peice, and at the Cat, they dont seem to seal up properly, i can hear them leaking. Is there something i can use to seal them up, like exhaust cement, would that be suitable.

Secondly, where the oxygen sensor connects, is in a different spot.Do i need to get a longer sensor?

Thirdly, should they smell bad, like a burning smell, when they are first fitted and started?

think the pacemaker extractors have the o2 sensor in the wrong spot.... someone posted a while ago to get the vr or vs type ones apparantly there different somehow heated o2 sensor something like that. otherwise ur engine light may come on occasionly.. ive had mine retapped and put in similar spot to my original factory one and still the o2 light comes on haha as for the rest not sure... think mine has some sort of gasket between the y piece and the cat.

The smell is normal for most new exhaust,
and you should have a gasket between CAT and extractors,
    or at least RTV silicone
    Just my 2 cents worth...

    deffinatly deffinatly need gaskets mate.
my guess for the smell would be that your old
gaskets were just being burnt cause the extractors have a different shape
    to your old mainfold.
