Question V6 T5 tailhsaft seal. Where to buy?

Doing a conversion for my VP. Wondering where I could buy the rear seal, tailshaft seal.
I just hope it isn't obsolete like the rest of the part I am getting for this box.

He mentions a tailshaft and box. Pretty sure he means the yoke seal that sits in the end of the extension housing. If by 'conversion' he means manual conversion.

the whole thing comes out, i just got one for mine. i got one from the local holden dealer, the only difference is the new one doesnt have the lip on it to stop it going in to far, so i just tapped it in until it was flush with the housing, thats what they said they do.

No can do I went to holden today after Bursons. Bursons advised me that this seal they had in stock suited both manual and auto extension housings but I did believe it, so they showed me their parts book and so it said they were for both.
After going to holden to get other parts I asked about this and they said they were different and the seal I bought would not fit. Worst part was that I asked if they could get me the right one " nope NA" they showed me they just stopped manufacturing them as of may 2009, dam missed out just. A gearbox engineering place in Melbourne wants 30 buks for that seal :/ I tried a local auto shop in kyneton where I live and might be in luck as its an after market catalog. I will find out tomorrow. If I cant get one can some one help me out ^^ VP- CLUBBY

Its called a "rear extension housing seal" they are around 13 bux when I have bought them. Very easy to **** up when putting in. I got 4th time lucky :P
Definitly easily available from any decent auto parts store.

Thanks, but never mind the 4 buk one that bursons gave me was an exact to the one that was in it just different colour. Dam these auto dealers, confusing me like this lol
After knocking the old one out I was like " wtf? so bursons was right" yet the other 2 places said no it wont fit and holden! out of all peoples are the ones that make the cars.
