    Default Turbo Charging My VN

    Hey guyz just wondering what parts do i need to turbo charge my vn berlina..
    does this sound alright?
    what parts should i change or add??

    LIST -

    1 x Intercooler 600x300x76

    1 x Polished Intercooler Piping

    7 x Silicon Hoses with T-Clamps

    1 x What Sort Of Turbo??????

    1 x What Size External Waste Gate???

    1 x 3'' Stainless Steel Dump Pipe (2 Piece)

    1 x 3 Piece Tuned Length Stainless Steel Manifold

    1 x 3'' Pod Filter

    1 x Twin Thermostats and Twin Relays

    1 x 400hp External Fuel Pump

    1 x Rising Rate Regulator 1:2 [with option for 1:6]

    1 x 2 Bar Map Sensor

    1 x Greddy Style Bov And

    1 x Boost Controller

    1 x Oil Line Feed Kit

    There is heaps of info on this site about what size turbo and gate, so see what people are running and make your own decision, dont forget to add bigger injectors and a tune to suit it all.

    reading the list like that i hope its not that sus looking one that the bloke is selling kits of on ebay.

    no matter how much stuff you can think of you will always find you need more things. remember with the oil return u will need a fitting welded into your sump too.
    i have gone the external gate route and its alot more trouble and costly then its worth. honestly go internally gated and if u can afford it a gt35 is definitely the best option. you can pick them up 2nd hand of the xr6-t 's if your budget doesnt allow for a brand spanker. but then these will also require water lines to the turbo which u can T out of your heater hoses for

    That is really cheap, second hand stuff? Most of the time to do the job properly it about $5000-6000 (as a starting point)
