VN SS door strip fell off

G'day guys,

as the title say the door strip (part with the pinstrIping) feel off probably was put on dodgy after it was painted

So Now I'm gonna pull em all off and restick em how should I do this?, I think at the moment there stuck on with dbl sided tape.

Starting to think it might be better to take it to the panel beaters and get a pro to do it do you think it would cost alot?

No need to take it somewhere else, buy some sikaflex (if thats correct spelling) clean off the doubled sided tape and apply a thin line on the strip then put on the door, easy and no need to pay someone else.

where can u get that double sided tape stuff from they use on the moulds because they use it on the side skirts too & im after some.

i think i would be a 3M tape

I used 3M tape on my moulds and they lasted with no site of falling off,and months later were still a pain to pull off for respray

Yeh I thought sikaflex was the way to go but I'm more of a measure one cut twice man so the would probably end up at 90 degree angles to each other
