Default Will a series 2 VP manual fit in a series 1 VN?

I'm thinking about buying a series 2 VP for $500 so that I can put the manual transmission into my VN, but I'm not sure if there's anything that might not work.

Anyone know if this will work?

    Check this thread,

The complete Vn-Vr Manual Conversion Guide.

Theres some info in both my ride threads about manual conversions as well (links below)

If its a V8 i belive it will be fine, if its a V6 well read this as well,

It's a V6 auto VN, so judging from that thread I'd need a crankshaft adapter and maybe a new computer for the VP if I wanted to keep it running.

Would prob be easier and better if you just dropped the engine and gearbox into your vn.

I just put a S1 auto engine in front of a manual. You will need the adapter and you will not need the new computer, as they are the same - VN-VP Auto Manual.

If you change the whole engine to VP, you will also need the different radiator and overflow bottle setup instead of the VN S1 header tank.
