Ford Falcon up to Au I think and Fairlane 6 cyl run the same diff centre as Commodore 6 cyl. Gearing is different. These are all Borg Warner 25 spline axles. I just listed an LSD centre on ebay this morning for $99.

Fairly sure they are 28spline NPreston..... ?

OP, you can usually get VN-P open centre complete rear axles for under $100 over here, that'd be the way to go if you're on a budget. A disc to disc LSD will be a bit of a gamble but should also be fairly cheap

Live axle? if so, vl-vs liveaxles will bolt in..... a vl diff would probably be abit out of your price range but, people seem to ask a shitload for vlt and vl8 diffs (na 6 isnt worth it because its a 25 spline)

Diffs from pintaras, skylines, falcons etc will not "bolt straight in" because of different mounting points but the internals of the diff are the same...
Only 25 spline diffs out of the falcons where the old one's (finished in xf) then from ea became 28spline.....

Pretty sure, i wrote it somewhere here ages ago but cant remember atm to be honest, so go searching if you can be bothered lol

Isn't this only pre-VN? Like VK and VL? Check this out - diff, all you need to know
