VN central locking issue

hi there, i have just got myslef a VN Berlina.
the only problem is that, when you lock the car and shut the door, the doors remain locked, but if you pull the handle on the drivers doors, it automatically unlocks all the doors,
i hope its just something small, any ideas please help

check the rod adjustment on the drivers door handle if little or no free play is there adjust the rod length to achieve some free play .

Try using the deadlock feature if fitted !

Yeh i bet someone has probably stuffed with ur drivers side door.
lock it all up and lift the passenger side handle, if it doesnt open..
then obviously ur door has been messed with.

When u lift ur drivers door handle does it just unlock drivers door or all of them ?

my guess someone has replaced the actuator in the door and has put it too close to the rod so that even the lift of ur door handle moves the rod and pulls ur actuator to open the door.

Have a play around man shouldnt be too big of a job.

Can anyone list what the wires are going to the control modual?

I need to splice in a after market remote but know one knows what wires to do it with.
