id say it should be printed on the tyre itself optimum pressure... somehwere after the tyre rating 235/35/17 (or thereabouts) then tyre pressures.... as for the rest cheap enough to do a major service every service...

Not sure about the tyre pressure.

Get a auto service kit from ebay or local, should be around $30-40 and you can put it in your self. (usually its just a trans filter and gasket for the T700)

Spark plugs, leads, air filter, fuel filter.

Wouldn't hurt to have a mechanic look over it but half the time they are a rip off and if you told them what you wrote here they would tell you all sorts of things worth $1000's that need fixing.

On the other hand if you have a mechanic friend he would probably give it a look over for free and let you know if anything needs replacing.

Careful with that, my tyres are 225/60R15 after that they have 85, dont know what the 85 stands for but if I put 85 psi in them they would blow up.

Anywhere from 35 to 37 should be fine and safe until someone can tell you what is best.

Yer thanx for the info on the engine stuff 2DIE and as for the tire pressure for the moment i have put in 34 PSI and its running pretty smooth, I would never put in what is on the tire wall as that is the MAXIMUM PRESSURE and you would blow your tire out over a nice bump.. Plus you have to take into account the weight of your car by the load amount and work it out from there, might just drop into a tire place and ask for the right amount just to be safe!

I and other members of JCCC running 17's usaly use 40PSI for everyday driving and im using that now.

    Ive also got 235/45/R17

Offcourse we got to lower that pressure for track days, but that varys heaps on the temprature of the track/air

if you like the ride of 36psi and its not wearing your tyres out stick woth it.
if you put too much in the centre of the tyre will wear out

i run 40psi in my 235/45 17, and after 20,000k's tyre wear has been pretty spot on.

oh and that maximum pressure i think is the maximum cold tyre pressure that you can have with the maximum load that the tyre can handle safely. i'm not 100% on that one, i'll ask my old man tonight.

make sure you do your tyre pressure adjustments at when the tyres are cold, as pressure changes when the tyres heat up.
