    Default central locking problem

I got a problem with my central locking I turn my alarm off with all doors locked - they open, when I put my alarm on they dont lock. I was thinking it could be the central locking module does anyone know where this is located?

Pulled it apart today, it has 2 posts joined together one from the actuator & one from the latch setup. After playing & bending them a million times I still cant get it right, then when I put the door button back on it doesnt see to go right down when its locked. I got a feeling its an aftermarket actuator, has anyone tried fixing theirs before?

I have fixed my set up before - after market deal- but the functions are the same. The rod has to pull the lock button down.

Are all the slider clips in place - so the rods dont flex? (middle of the door.) If the lock will go all the way down when you push it then it's the actuator that is buggered.

theres one slider clip that joins the 2 rods if thats what you mean? I got a feeling its the motor on the central locking not the actuator which is on the left hand side, theres 2 actuators right one on each rod?

If the locks are opening when they are not ment to - I'd be sus of the security module.

they are functioning properly, its just the drivers door doesnt seem to go all the way down when locked, and it seems stiff at the top when pushing up & down manually

it wont lock manually from inside I dont think - it's not ment to. Safety thing about locking the car by accident.

nearly got it fixed it was rubbing at the top, had to keep realigning the bars. Its got keyless entry so its different probably...

Quick question, did your 5 litre go noticeably different with a green foam tune?

If its got the factory gold bracket in the door that controls the motor, key entry and handle rods, it won't lock while the door is open. Even if you replace the motor.
