VN Calais - Fuel Consumption on Trip Computer stopped working

Hi All,

VN Calais V6 on straight gas.

Recently the Fuel Consumption on the Trip Computer stopped working. The "Fuel Used" does not increase in value and the "Average Fuel Consumption" doesn't change.

All other functions on the trip computer are still working fine.

Also (not sure if this is related or not) but around the same time this stopped working, the engine now starts to idle really high once warm - around 2000rpm.

Any ideas?

It might be worth while checking the yellow/black wire that goes to pin 13 on connector 4 on the bottom of the instrument cluster (accessible from the fuse box cover) it should lead over to the ecu behind the left hand side kick panel, that's for the fuel readout issue, as for the high idle i am unsure

on the ecu end it should feed into the space between the gray and the brown/white wire
