intake manifold

Hi all i have my intake manifold off to do the gasket but when i took it off the two plastic bits at the front and back of the manifold broke,i cant get the parts for a few days i just need to know if i put it all back together will i be able to get them in, i know the front will be fine but the back one looks like it will be a tight fit with the manifold in place.Any help welcome

Plastic bits? I never had anything plastic when i took mine off. Unless you snapped the plastic bellmouth of at the plenum ?

i think they are for the heater hose

Do you mean the heater hose bits? If you get all the plastic out and clean the holes out they will go back in easy, You should be right putting the manifold back on.

use a socket slightly smaller than the ports the plastic things are in and knock them though and out with a hammer.
