Aux Port Not Working

Hey i no this has nothing to do with fixing a car but i was wondering if anyone new y my aux port not working (red port only not working) i hooked up my amp today and when i plug in my red cord no sound comes out only a high pitched noise and only one speaker is working from the white port i changed my cords and still didnt work so i borrowed a stereo of my bro and they both worked fine so then i realized was y red aux port and i dont no why its not working?. Any help would be great thank you.

Yer soz lol i wrote it again cause the 1st thread i made had alot of misteaks in it so i didnt think peaple would understand it proply.

well anyway i read over your problem, and if i understood it correctly it sounds like your headunit is stuffed. if you used another headunit and plugged it into your amp, it works fine right, out of both channels? if so just grab a new headunit and chuck it in your car, they're cheap enough.
