I scored a second hand box for $80 NZD, its not in a bad condition, doesnt manually down shift tho. You gotta look for the home man wrecking cars privatly, you can get good deals but you also can get lemons you you need to know what your doing. You cant tell what sort of condition the box is in without driving it. But clean red looking oil is a good indicator of a good transmission.

its coming out of my Vp plus the motor too. got 191,000 on it so far.

i got quoted 600 to get a second hand auto from this joint called east comm wreckers and it comes with a "second hand warranty" so i think that means its hit and miss if they chuck it in and it stuffs up before a period of time they just grab another one i guess
