hey does anyone out there know wat the round black ball lookin thing is that is hangin up under the front left corner is????? just wondering so i can remove it completely or not????? Please help

It's the vacuum tank, you can't remove it, if you want your vacuum operated controls to keep working.

ok i believe that the book says thats wat it is but wat is it actually for cause the hose that runs out of it goes back through the firewall and in behind the dash somewhere...... and if it's for the air con can i remove it as i have removed the aircon???????

It's not actually for the A/C itself.
The tank holds a vacuum, like your brake booster, it moves the heater flaps to the positions you select when you change from Feet, to Windscreen, to Face, and so on..
