    Default Flash Lube

Might be a stupid question but ive got a couple of flash lube the valve saver stuff sittin at home because i had a car on gas and got rid of the thing.

I now have a vn v6 on straight petrol, just wondering if putting in a bit of the flash lube couldn't hurt?

Its just sittin here on my desk otherwise

    Thanks

I use it in my 83 VH and 75 HJ

    As far as i know,
it does the job lead used to do and lubricates the valves and upper cylinder,
it is recommended for cars designed to run on leaded petrol or running gas that need the extra lube up top.
    Just my 2 cents worth...

I could be wrong, but all commodore motors from the vk efi onwards are designed for ulp.

Flash lube gets rid of pinging really well in my 82 vh but you wouldnt need it in your vn.

lpg burns the valves so that's what the flashlube kit is for. it is not necessary on a petrol engine that was designed to run on ulp.
