    Default vn front shocks

hey just wondering if the front shocks in my 89 vn need 2 change the hole strut or do they shocks come in like an insert, like does the shock slide out of the strut housing and just replace it??
im putting super low front shocks in to match the super low springs and i just wonted to no if i hav 2 change the hole strut or just the shock insert thing

nah you don't need to change the whole strut. you can take the shock out and replace it. How To: Change Springs/Shock

cheers mate i went 2 autobarn and they said i could use the stocky shocks then repco said i needed 2 change the struts and shocks. can i use the stock ones? and were can i get the replacement shocks thats fair priced?

yeah mate you can run the stock shocks, but the ride won't be so good and you'll wear them out pretty quickly. shortened shocks is a better idea if you have the cash you can get them from recpo/bursons etc, or our site sponsor can probably do you a better deal than both of them: GSL RallySport. give greg a pm and see what he can do for you in your price range
