VN Manual wont start.
When driving it felt like it was missing then just died completely.
Turns over but wont fire. Not even a cough.
No spark?
Replaced CAS
New Battery
New coil pack
New plugs
Error code reads 12
Fuses OK.
Fuel pump works
Dont know what else to check.
Any help would be most appreciated, thanks.

How about the DFI unit - was that replaced when the coils were?
White 05 V6 VZ Executive - Thrashed Ex Telstra car
and 3 Dangerous non ABS VN's
try your ECU that can also cause problems when it's the origional one
You say there is no spark (Did you check for spark at the leads?) The only thing that controls the spark are the Cas,DFI module, coils,Obviously leads and spark plugs. Check the connection on the DFI module was the little bolt screwed in properly on the DFI module connector?
Check the EFI fuse and relay as well. could be no injector trigger. The relay supplies power to the injectors and the PCM supplies earth to the injectors
Check if you are getting these signals.
Yes checked for spark at the leads.
Did a multimeter test as per forums on the replacement DFI-COIL unit.
Bolt is tight and connectors clean.
Checked fuses/relay by swapping with a know good one, horn.
Pulled fuel hose off to see if fuel pump was working. Yes works.
Stumped and thank you.
This might not help, but my VN was doing the same thing last month
It was turning over but wouldn't fire everything was in good condition, i replaced all the leads, plugs and the DFI/coil pack aswell, but no luck.
turns out that the throttle body wasn't lettin enough air (almost nothing) in as there was a huge collection of carbon built up around the walls, as it only has a tiny gap for start up, enough to get blocked.
after it was cleaned and all the crap was removed it start perfectly.. apparently its pretty common, im not sure... might help.
Cheers Tim
i have the same problem i would like the same to get it started but it wont so goin to rebuild the motor and put a turbo on it
Check that you have 12 volts or more when ignition is on on this pin on the DFM plug;
I know this a S1 DFM and coils, but the S2 is the same pin for power supply to have spark. Also, if you have power here, check there is good earth return and also one of the wires going to the CAS might be broken - this means you will have no spark timing!
